Your team sends LinkedIn invitations from Fuse. Fuse can put the result on the contact in HubSpot, so your CRM shows who has been invited and who has connected.
This is available on HubSpot only. It is separate from activity sync, which logs campaign steps on the HubSpot timeline and never sets these properties.

What Fuse can write

Unlike the engagement fields, these go into your own HubSpot contact properties. Fuse creates no property here and writes nothing until you map one.

Set it up

  1. In HubSpot, create the contact properties you want if you don’t have them yet, for example a dropdown named LinkedIn Connection Status.
  2. In Fuse, open Settings → Integrations → HubSpot, go to the Fields tab and find FuseAI properties in HubSpot.
  3. Pick the HubSpot property for each Fuse property you want. For the status, choose which of your property’s values Fuse writes for each state.
  4. Select Save, then Sync now to write the first values straight away.
Any member of the team can see the mapping. Changing it and starting a sync need an owner or admin.

How the status is worked out

  • Every invitation counts. Fuse looks at every invitation sent from the LinkedIn accounts your team members have connected to Fuse, whether a campaign, your AI assistant or a person sent it. Past invitations count too, so the first sync fills in people invited long before you set this up.
  • Only people your team has invited or is connected to are written. Fuse leaves the property alone on every other contact.
  • An invitation that disappears from LinkedIn, for example because it was withdrawn, sets the status back to Not connected once it has been gone for 12 hours.
  • The HubSpot record must already exist. Fuse writes to HubSpot contacts linked to a Fuse contact, through a CRM pull or push, whose LinkedIn profile is the one that was invited. It never creates a HubSpot contact for this.
  • Fuse overwrites the mapped property on every contact it has a value for, so map properties that only Fuse writes to.

Timing

The sync runs every hour, and straight away when you save the mapping or select Sync now.

From your AI assistant

Over the Fuse MCP server, get_fuse_property_mappings shows the mapping and how the last sync went, set_fuse_property_mappings changes it, and push_fuse_properties starts a sync. For example:
Write Fuse’s LinkedIn connection status into my HubSpot property “LinkedIn Connection Status”, then sync it now.
The same owner-or-admin rule applies.
